Landscape perspective
Use your viewpoint to organise foreground, middle-ground and background. Small changes in camera position can make those layers clearer.
Look for overlap before changing lenses
Move sideways to separate a foreground branch from a distant feature. Lower the camera to explore a more prominent foreground, then check which objects obscure each other.
Does a lower camera always improve depth?
No. A lower viewpoint can emphasise nearby objects, but it can also hide useful middle-ground detail. Choose a position that supports the relationships you want to show.
